With a stainless steel mouthpiece, this bit is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and does not rust. The waterford mouthpiece is comprised entirely of lozenges curving around the tongue. Waterford mouthpieces can be harsh and are difficult for the horse to pull against and lean on. Should only be used by experienced riders or under the supervision of a trainer. The full cheek assists with steering and prevents the bit from being pulled through the horse's mouth.
